It’s with mix of sympathetic joy and profound sadness that I share the news Robert K Hall died and passed into the Grand Mystery Friday September 20 around 6 p.m. MDT. He died at home quietly and peacefully without pain nor suffering.
We were together for the his last breaths, caressing his hands, calming his mind and soothing his heart space. I had the entire night and morning to sit vigil with his body, draped with his favorite panama shirt, scarf (pictured above) and knitted cap, lit candles, played his favorite chants, sharing fond memories, sending him loving kindness, sincere prayers and meditations guiding him toward the beacon of inner sound and milky white inner light. These were our last wishes and grateful to be together and have shared such a soft and gentle transition.
Robert’s body will be cremated Monday September 23 by Funeria del Carmen in La Paz, BCS. There will be a global meditation Monday evening (5:30 PMT; 6:30 p.m. MDT; 7:30 Mexico City time), to wish him well and guide him on the path on this mysterious journey with the support of our local and global Sangha . A memorial meditation is planned for Sunday November 18th in Todos Santos. Location and time to be announced.

Con una mezcla de compasiva dicha y profunda tristeza comparto la noticia de que Robert K Hall murió y pasó al Gran Misterio el viernes 20 de septiembre alrededor de las 6 PM. Murió tranquilo y en paz en casa sin dolor ni sufrimiento. Estuvimos juntos durante sus últimos suspiros, calmando su mente y corazón. Tuve la noche en vigilia para sentarme con su cuerpo. Encendí velas, toqué sus cánticos favoritos, compartiendo recuerdos queridos, enviándole bondad amorosa, plegarias sinceras y meditaciones guiándolo hacia el sonido y la luz interiores. Estos fueron nuestros últimos deseos, estar juntos y agradecidos de compartir tan hermosa transición.
Su cuerpo será cremado el lunes 23 de septiembre por la funeraria del Carmen en La Paz, BCS. Habrá una meditación global el lunes a las 6:30 PM MDT y podemos desearle el bien y guiarlo en su viaje con el apoyo de nuestra sangha global. Planeamos que habrá una meditación en su memoria para finales de octubre o mediados de noviembre en Todos Santos.
El lugar y la hora por determinarse aún.
