LISTENING TO THE INNER SOUND
AN ON-GOING SITTING GROUP in MILL VALLEY
with Catherine Flaxman
TUESDAY NIGHTS: 6:45-8:15 p.m.
Integrating Buddhist and non-dual perspectives with mindfulness practices, we will explore the egoic self and the seduction of thought—how to work with it, how to become free of it, and how to listen to the whisper of silence and vibratory sound within. The Sound has been referred to as Logos, The Word, The Guest, The Wine and The Comforter. Opening to the inner sound is deeply restful and healing. No striving, no goals, no need to believe in a particular philosophy or spiritual tradition. Suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.
No charge. Dana (donation) only.
No meeting: January 15, 2013
